RUSS SCHAFFER

I’m a graphic designer with a journalism degree and passion for photography. My career has been dictated by a motivation for storytelling and the medium for that has evolved over time. In nearly a decade as a professional creative, I’ve worked for all sizes of design teams in a variety of fields while becoming fluent in the full scope of the Creative Cloud along the way.
From Florida to Alabama through Memphis and now Chicago, I’ve designed all odds and ends. My range of work reads like ad-libs and includes the NBA Draft package for Ja Morant, HUGO BOSS podcast artwork, a Ford F-150 vinyl wrap, bobblehead packaging, New Jersey DMV billboards, Kroger aisle card advertisements, elementary cafeteria posters, medical sales packaging, media guides, a poster for Elton John, the ad campaign for the official football of the Super Bowl and tons, tons more.

While ad campaigns and branding represent a significant proportion of my day-to-day projects, my hope is my portfolio displays my ability to work seamlessly across different brands while adding my own style throughout.
