Hank & Ellen's Wedding
Three posters commissioned for a wedding. Their request was for a mimic of the Greetings from Chicago mural with personal images instead, a 1910s style postcard of their venue and a band tour poster. These are a mixture of original work, manipulating stock assets and AI imagery.

Mac Miller Memoir
Mac Miller Memoir is the largest fan account in remembrance of the life and work of the artist, Mac Miller. I was approached by their team when they neared 100,000 followers to do a rebrand for their social media accounts. The collages above were inspired from this project.

The logo design is comprised of elements of Mac's work. The clouds are a reference to the clouds of his album The Divine Feminine while the half circle is for his posthumous album, Circles. The wave in the middle is a subtle reference to Swimming, the final album released in his lifetime, while also taking the shape of MMM.

All of the designs in this series (and the additional designs below) were designed using photos and text from past feature stories, which proved to be a challenge in itself to find elements that blended together.
Karen Meyers, Malcolm's mother

Fan giveaway done in coordination with Mac Miller Memoir. The goal of the album was to combine the cover aesthetics of his 2014 mixtape, Faces, and 2020 album, Circles.

The Faces artwork is a yellow background with a wide range of Colors and Shapes, which is also the name of the 17th song on the project.
Other references are the waves for Swimming and birds for a theme of Watching Movies With The Sound Off. Mac is from Pittsburgh hence the map and skyline imagery.

Same idea as the Mac collage above in that I wanted to take images and copy from old feature stories to make a collage featured around a limited color palette.

Background
One dreary weekend, I found a set of photos from the 1920s quirky enough to be abnormal. They documented unknown people in everyday experiences. These images were essential solely to the families when taken, but time has made them essential to our understanding of past life
I used modern albums to see which themes could be ambiguous enough to blend through time. The video below uses audio from an ambient recording I took on the banks of the Mississippi River; the same river which Jeff Buckley drowned in three years after the completion of the only album released in his lifetime, Grace

Collage set; for fun
